The Porch2Porch Meal Handbook

Here at Porch2Porch, we believe in connecting neighbors in our community. In addition to our grocery delivery program, we hope to connect neighbors through home-cooked meals. This page contains shopping lists and recipes for commonly-requested and freezer friendly meals as well as our general guidelines for home-cooked donations.

Our Guidelines

Food Safe

All home-cooked meals should be prepared carefully with unexpired ingredients. You agree to our Terms and Conditions and Food Quality Agreement when you donate a meal.

Frozen

As part of food safety, we ask that all meals are stored and delivered frozen. We hope to lift this requirement in the future, but this allows us to deliver food-safe meals. Please include thawing/cooking instructions.

From the heart

Donate whatever meal you would like, as long as it can be frozen! You can use our recipe guides below for inspiration, or donate another meal you would like to prepare.

No leftovers, please! Only meals that haven’t been eaten from or are a separate portion.

Since these are donated meals, please keep in mind you will not get your container back! We recommend using a disposable container, such as a foil pan.
